Wirrigirri Primary School is now open, supporting the growing community in the City of Whittlesea, located in Melbourne’s outer north. Our school is located at 110 Saltlake Boulevard, Wollert VIC 3750. We welcome enrolments for Prep to Year 6 from families living within our school zone.

Did you know?
“Wirrigirri” (pronounced werry-jerry), derived from the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people, means “messenger.” Historically, the Wirrigirri was a vital figure who carried important messages and invitations between Aboriginal clans, often using a message stick. The role of the Wirrigirri symbolises communication and connection, embodying our school’s core values of Respect, Curiosity, and Collaboration.
